Please see my attempt. The question is there, did I visualize it correctly? I believe there is a ring remaining when I minus the inside bowl-like solid, and I made my cross-sections orthogonal to the axis of rotation

NOTE: I misread the question when it says to rotate about the y-axis. Assume this is rotation by x-axis. If so, did I do it correctly?
