I'm not completely convinced that this is the right forum to place this question, but here goes.
Does
The answer is yes. I'm confused because I thought that not only should the exponent c be applied to the constant 2, but that by definition, applying the exponential function to a logarithmic function left you with the value .
Any help understanding this would be great. |

Good grief! Yes, I can imagine why they are doing this though. I'm beginning to prepare for my Probabilities actuarial exam, and this was among the calculus review quiz questions to take *before* starting the prep course. I can only imagine what is going to be on that test.
