As demonstrated in this thread, there are some new commands available for use in the tex tags: \cancel, \bcancel, \xcancel, and \cancelto. Examples:
| Code: | \displaystyle
\frac{32}{64}
=\frac{2\times4\times4}{4\times4\times4}
=\frac{\cancelto{1}{2}\times\cancel{4}\times\cancel{4}}{\cancelto{2}{4}\times\cancel{4}\times\cancel{4}}
=\frac12 |
| Code: | \displaystyle
\xcancel{f'(a)=\lim_{x\to a}\frac{f(x)-f(a)}{x-a}}
\qquad\text{(boo math!)} |
