More Than One Minus Sign in Simple Fractions: Problem 1

Rule 4:
If there is an even number of minus signs in a fraction, the value of the fraction is positive.
If there is an odd number of minus signs in a simple fraction, the value of the fraction is negative.

Problem 1:

Find the value of (-7)(-1)(-2).

Answer:
There is an odd number of minus signs, so the answer will be negative. The product of 7 and 1 and 2 is 14. The answer is -14.
