Answer: (a) No Solution (b) 8.95352

Solution: (a) Since a negative number raised to an odd power is negative, we cannot work this problem. You cannot take the log of a negative number.

Solution: (b) Since a negative number raised to an even power is positive, we can find the value of this problem
